Baby Milestone Photography Sessions for Every Sweet Moment

Boston baby photographer Laura Pineda of Alternate Angles captures the sweet, fast-changing stages of your baby’s first years with calm, natural, and heartfelt portraits. From sitting up and first smiles to crawling, standing, birthdays, and beyond, each baby photography session is gently guided to bring out your child’s personality while keeping the experience relaxed for parents. How it Works

The Details
If you love what you see on the website, we were made for one another. Simply let me know you’d like to reserve a date for your baby’s session by providing your basic information here. Booking requires a signed contract, payment of the session fee, and completion of a questionnaire. This allows me to gather all the special details needed to customize your session and make it unique to your family.

Preparing for Your Session
Once you’re booked, you’ll receive a detailed email explaining what to expect during your session, along with a link to clothing suggestions to help you feel prepared and confident.

The Day of Your Session
It’s time to relax and have fun. I’ll have drinks and snacks available at the studio, so all you need to bring is your baby and nourishment. Baby sessions typically last between one and two hours, giving us plenty of time to capture genuine expressions and sweet moments without feeling rushed.

Your Preview Appointment
About three weeks after your session, you’ll either return to the studio or join Laura for a Google Meet call to view your images. I’ll have the tissues ready as we relive the beautiful moments from your private session. During this appointment, you’ll select your favorite images and place your order, so all decision-makers should plan to attend.

Why should I do this now?
Because there will never be a “perfect” time — and one day, you’ll be so grateful you didn’t wait. When your baby is grown, these images will remind you not only of how they looked, but of how deeply you loved them from the very beginning.

What should I wear for my photoshoot?
Stick to solids without logos and coordinate outfits instead of matching. If you prefer patterns choose one busy outfit and coordinate other solids to it.  Soft, neutral tones photograph beautifully and keep the focus on faces & connection. How long should I expect my photo session to last?
Sessions are intentionally unhurried and typically last 1-2 hours. This allows plenty of time for various sets as well as needed breaks and cuddles—without ever feeling rushed.
